Drone Photography Pricing

Aerial Photography Without the Sky High Prices

We are very upfront about our UK Aerial Photography pricing so here are some estimates of what to expect.

The pricing of our drone aerial photography is very much dependent on the intricacy, location and level of hazards and risks of the shoot.  Any requirements or plans you might have can be discussed by phone or email

Each and every project is an individual piece of work with its own complexities, foibles and hazards so we always carry out a detailed online survey prior to any flight before sending you a final quote. This enables us to fully comply with CAA directives.

Please note that we do not hire any of our equipment including drones without a fully trained pilot or operator on site.

Feasibility Survey, The Weather, Deposits and Booking

Aerial photography and video using an unmanned drone are very much dependent on weather conditions. We, therefore,  have a flexible and pragmatic approach to scheduling client work. It is impracticable to operate our drones in rain or high winds.   In addition, you may have specific times and other restrictions which need to be placed on the project.

You need to tell us –

  • where the shoot will happen including a detailed postcode and access information
  • proposed date and times
  • your ideas for the actual photographs and video you want us to capture in detail

Feasibility Survey

With your brief, we can do an initial online site survey to see if the shoot is possible and if there are any other factors, flight restrictions or permissions that need to be considered.

Although the aerial drone photography may only be a minor facet of large production in order to comply with the terms of our CAA license, we still need to complete our pre-flight survey which may necessitate an on-site visit.

The success of each project relies upon the careful planning and preparation performed in advance of shoot day.

Making a booking

On conclusion of a positive feasibility survey, Xozzi will send you a quote including details of the shoot, provisional date or dates and costs. If agreeable then we may hold a final onsite visit to finalize arrangements.

Upon receipt of a 20% deposit, we will agree on a final shoot date.

The Great British Weather

We will be monitoring the weather condition up to a week ahead but if things are not looking good 48 hours prior to the shoot then we will contact the client and make alternative arrangements.

If this is the case then we will reschedule the shoot to the next mutually agreeable date and the deposit is used for this new date. The weather may be fickle but we are flexible in our outlook.

If factors out of our control mean the shoot cannot be re-scheduled then, unfortunately, Xozzi Aerial Services do not offer a refund of the initial deposit.

If a mutual decision is made to stay with the original date and we have inclement weather, our pilots will stay on site as long as possible.

If we arrive on site and are unable to shoot on the day we will charge in full, but offer clients a 25% discount off the price of the second shoot on a follow-up date.

What if I Cancel?

We know that due to extenuating circumstances occasionally cancellation may be unavoidable. We will work with the client to reschedule or delay a shoot if necessary but if a cancellation is within 7 days of the shoot then the deposit will not be refunded.
